The Didgeridog Crew volunteers in dog rescue by fostering one small dog at a time.
Fostering is a total-family effort, involving all of the Didgeridog humans and doggies-in-residence. Many times we cannot even tell why a foster is in rescue (perfect dog!). Other times, reasons emerge. In either situation, we provide concentrated socialization, steady loving, and dependable, understandable boundaries to help foster doggies blossom. We strive to help each foster dog with whatever behavoral, diet, or health challenges need to be identified, addressed, improved, and made manageable, and work to make a great match with a new forever-home. Because Didgeridog fosters ONLY one small dog at a time, we can sometimes help locate a good match through a no-kill rescue org, help with respite boarding, or foster an owner-surrendered doggie.
If you have time and attention to offer to a doggie who would otherwise become part of a dreadful statistic (one of the hundreds of lovable dogs otherwise put to death because of California laws and local practices), please contact your local shelter, a general rescue group, or a specialty rescue group (rescues dogs of a specific breed) - find out how to become a foster home, offer volunteer time or donations, or in any way assist the organization to utilize the gift of your time and enthusiasm. (Look them up on the California Secretary of State website - if their 501c3 (non-profit) status is current- your effort - and dollars - may be tax deductible!)
He's a creamy Pomeranian boy - loving, social, playful, LOVES people & other small doggies, housetrained, walks on leash. 3yo, neutered, shots current.
